It is almost show time and we need to set dates, times, and a meeting place for the Good Guys car show. So far I have heard some say Saturday and others Sunday. So which do you prefer?
I can only go on Sunday, but I will be there. I recommend that if some can only go on Saturday or Sunday, we can still meet up with the people who can go the same day.
I'll be there Sunday. Looks like I won't be driving a Ford truck that day, however...
A meeting place? I suppose that should be chosen by someone a little more familiar with the layout of the place than I since I've just been there once. Perhaps by the main gate nearest the swap meet/parking lot...? The event begins at 8:00 and I'll probably be there about that time.
We should probably PM each other our cell numbers so we can hook up that way if needs be. Karl already has mine and I have his...
I plan to get there Sunday around 8 am as well. I like Dan's idea of meeting at the main gate. There is a picture of me sitting in my truck's engine bay in my gallery so you can recognize me.. if that doesn't scare you off.
Please PM me with your phone number and description so we can meet up.
Please volunteer if you want to be the contact person for meeting on Saturday.
Sorry guys, I'm out this weekend. Maybe at the Pleasanton meet in the spring. Also, the Easter run at Micke Grove will be rolling around about then. Jag
Are we still go for tomorrow? I gotta tell ya, if it's as soggy as today was I have a hard time dredging up much enthusiasm for slogging around in the wet...most of the show is outdoors, though there are some indoor halls with cars and vendors in them.
I am planning on going. The weather forecast says it should be clearing up in the morning. I plan on leaving Vallejo around 7:30 am or earlier and getting there around 8am. Maybe we can meet at the main entrance around that time.
I am not sure if I am going to bring the truck or not. I may be in my Corolla, depends on my mood and whether I want to burn that much gas.
Dan, even if you decide not to go, contact me and stop on by in Vallejo. I can always use an extra set of ears and eyes on helping me trouble shoot some things on my truck.
If anybody else wants to meet us, pm or email me before 7am with your cell phone number.

The weather cleared up and it was a nice day. I met Dan a little after 8 and we first looked at the swap meet then looked at the rest of the show. There was a lot of impressive metal there and a few that left us just shaking our heads wondering why.
I will post a few pics later.
Dan, I tightened the spark plug, but it still makes that same noise on my engine.
Just me and Dan, I bought some POR 15 rust paint and a few hand tools and tri-tip sandwich. Dan got a lot of stuff... hopefully he will chime in here in a little bit about his purchases.
