I just picked up a '94 F150, 4.9 I6, with the E4OD transmission. The truck is in great shape, and I plan to keep this truck, in this condition or better, for a long time to come. I guess you could say that this is, "The One."
I am looking for the very best books regarding maintanence, mechanical repair, specs, etc... I consider this to be an extremely important investment, and am sure that others would agree.
Do any readers among us happen to have the books for this exact truck, or know where I might find them?
I would sure appreciate any direction on this matter.
The best manuals are the Ford service manuals, which you best bet finding those is eBay. I've always been fine with the Hanyne's manual, Chilton's manual and the Ford Fuel Injectoin and Electronic Engine Control book by Charles O. Probst. You can find all of these on Amazon or anywhere like that; also the Haynes and Chilton's manuals are in auto parts stores too. These cover most of the problems you'll ever run into.
