The type on the A pillar?
Check with your states vehicle laws first, it is illegal is some states.

Use one of those hand held ones, you can put it away when not in use.
The other one looks like a cop light on the side of a truck.

POPO around here are starting to use a remote control unit that they mount either on the hood or roof...looks neat like the CWIS units on navy ships.

I've installed a few of these in a couple of Sheriff/HP and DNR F-150 trucks. Retail pricing (I've seen) to go from $105-180 depending on models and features; then expect to pay another $20-$50 on the install kits. The ones I've installed had a metal sleeve that slid through a hole you made in the pillar then slid a rubber "compression bushing" inside of that with the light/control mast. Then when you tighten up the outer bezels it formed a seal from the bezel to the light mast. You only had to worry about making sure you had a good silicone bead under the base and bezel.
W/out diving into my own personal purchasing/vendor info... I went and googled under "Teardrop dummy spotlight" and found this...
Light..

I hope this helps!

Oh! Fwiw...I've noticed the XL or custom Police fleet trim Pkg. seems to look better if the light was a flat or satin Black color.
