Since I bought my 99 crewcab I've stood on my milkcrate and preached
" nothing pulls like a superduty " . Today I loaded a goose neck with 16k of jet fuel and buddy drove off with it behind his duramax!!!
I was hoping somebody had a crazy load story just to cheer me up !!
I have a friend with a cattle farm that said he tows a trailer w/ 11 rolls of hay and he as also towed a cattle trailer the was so heavy that if he got over 35 mph he couldn't steer
Does one time pull count. How about an IH firetruck stuck in the mud up to the axles. The guys unloaded all the water but they said the rig still weighed 30K. They dug a ramp in the mud, I hooked 2 tow straps up. The fired up the rig and put it in drive I went to 4 low and started pulling.
Man, mud wet flying all over my truck and the firetruck too. This is defintely one of those moments when you wish you had the camera.
I dont know who it was, but there is a guy on here that posted a picture of him and his truck moving a HOUSE on wheels (big *** trailer) because the truck designed for the job couldn't fit in the space.
I was pretty impressed with mine today. Pulled my girlfriends 96 blazer on a dual axle car trailer up a 8% grade pretty well. I think it weighed around 6-7K total. Woulda been much better if I coulda got a run at the hill and had the t/c lock, but the speed limit is 25 through the town. It also pulled the bridge thats around 15% (a guess) really well for a stock truck. Made me smile all the way . She just doesnt get it, even laughed at me when I said "hey, video tape this when I start going up the hill..."
I'm a fulltime RV'er. when we roll it 25,880 lbs. The 5th wheel weighs 15,000 lbs and truck 10,880. 9% grades in Canada, Sea level to 9,000 ft. Never ever stop to think about whats ahead, cuz I know the truck can handle it. Barney
I pulled my 43' trailer home from NV with a bunch of batch plant parts on it. Got home and wieghed the whole thing (didnt really want to know before i made it home!) came in just over 39k.
And then there was the need to move the office trailer!

That's grossly overloaded and you jeapordized the lives of everyone on the road!
I would've loved to see that!
I pull between 15,000 and 18,000 lbs everyday, effortlessly, btw.

I didnt pull the office on the road. it was only about 500 yards. When the toter arrived we didnt know exactly where it needed to be so we just parked it out of the way.
Pulled a double axle dump trailer with 5 yards of topsoil in it at 2300 lbs a yard, plus a yard in the box of the truck. Soil weighed about 14k, trailer at least another 2k. It was a chore, but it handled it no problem.
