Are you sure you even need an engine? Is the truck perhaps out of gas?

Are you looking for a recommendation on where to go (or better yet, where not to go) to get a replacement engine?

It is obvious to me that i would be looking for a used engine. I don't see why you would ask such stupid questions none of which were any help appreciate all your wisdom.

I'm with Andy on this one...your post was severely lacking in particulars. Looking for a used 460 was a possibility, but far from obvious.
Junkyards, newspaper classifieds, Craigslist, and eBay are all possible sources of used 460s, though due to it being out of production for over 10 years now, it is becoming more rare in used form.
