Does anyone know how to disable the "Key in the ignition ding dong bell???"

It's driving me nuts!

Under the dash just to the right of the steering column is a little square black box...simply unplug it.

here you go, this is looking up from the floor, the grey to the right is the plastic just under the steering wheel. you cant miss the connector. Unplug the connector, use a pick to pull the red locking tab out of the connector, gently pry the pin up and slide the black\purple marking out of the connecotr, then your done. if you arent sure its the larger of the 2 black wires in the connector

i have my radio hardwired in so i can turn it on and off with no keys at all

me thinks that that very box is hanging down, and i was gonna take pics and ask what the heck it was. it has a metal prong on each side to screw it up to something right? its floppin on mine

About a ten foot radius after it's collision with a 3lbs hand sledge. Throwing it would have been letting it go. Naw, it had to pay. It needed killin'. It doesn't help that my brother in law knows it drives me crazy. He leaves his doors open with the key in just to annoy me at times. If he wasn't one of my best friends I'd introduce him to the silence maker. LOL
