New Edelbrock Intakes for Cleveland type heads on Windsor blocks
Well this very interesting development was mentioned in another Thread. The intake for the 302 block is #7129, and the one for the 351W block is #7183. Oddly, the Edelbrock website says that the intakes are for Edelbrock Cleveland type heads, and their listing for the #7129 says that it will not fit OE 302 Boss engines.
I am eager to hear from others as to whether these manifolds actually do work with stock Cleveland type heads. It seems that if they won't, then this will very much reduce their sales potential.
Also, it seems that Edelbrock is about 25 years late in introducing them.

just need to find out if there C heads are the same as stock ones.............and as far as the boss goes it might not work because of the port size. the 4V intake ports are huge compaired to the 2V heads....
shop ebay for a B&A trackboss like the one I have ...I have seen them a few times on there....

They may be late, but then too, there's a bigger market for Ford stuff now than 20 years ago. Plus they've obviously seen what the Boss intakes sell for now, they've priced theirs below that. Their 2 bbl heads have 2 bbl sized ports, the intakes are supposed to have enough meat in the port flanges to accomodate porting to match 4 bbl heads.

Hemi!, how do you find this stuff? I look on ebay all the time, I must be wording it wrong? I've been thinking about this and I think what I am going to do is go with the adapters that hemi told us about, you have more manifold options that way, I would like to go with two 4's when ever I get around to doing this clevor build of mine, Hemi, I was wondering if you would post up your site on your clevor build? I must have deleted it by mistake? and my thought's on edelbrock coming out late? The old ways of doing things will never die out totally, they just have to pick the right time when demand is high for a new product , just my .02
