it could just be a bad tank of fuel! I had a tank one time that got terrible mileage. Was worried and it went away the next tank. Just a thought.
Same here mudmaker I purchased a tank of fuel in Lexington KY and couldn't use overdrive to tow my RV home to Cincinnati OH. It does happen sometimes you get get crappy fuel.
Some stations carry better fuel then others too. Mine likes the exxon fuel better the the stuff from hess. I average 1-2 mpg better with it and I run about 16oz of dk grey at each fill-up (30 gal).
When was the last time you changed your air filter and fuel filter? These rigs are very picky one filters start to clog.

Brand new fuel filter ... this was the first tank of diesel that I ran with the new filter ... one of the reasons I have been asking if somehow that has anything to do with the mileage ... I have less than 4K miles on my 6637, I am going to due a flashlight test on it tonight
