I sold my 94 F350 and I just got a 01 F250 extended cab with 51000 miles on it. When I bought it I also got the extended warrenty for 2 yrs or 24000 miles. My question is will they let me put gauges and exhaust on it with out voiding warrenty? I plan on pulling the 5er and boat so I want to be able to keep an eye on it like I did with the 94.
Also has anybody seen the intake kits that they have from furd? They say they flow better and trap more dirt than the stock one. It does not void the warrenty. Has anybody triedone of these?

gauges will not void it and the exhaust should not.. but you might want to ask the dealer that question... the air box that does not void the warrenty would be the AIS intake....
that will depend on the dealer doing the warrenty work...some know its better then stock..some have no clue...
Ain't that the truth!
I was at a dealership this week and one of the service manager's asked about the AFE badges on the side of my truck. When I explained that I had replaced the crappy Ford airbox with an AFE intake he responded with "people who do that end up buying motors". Umm, no, people who leave the Ford factory airbox on end up with dusted turbos.....

Thanks for the answer Ron! I was afraid that they would want it post turbo? I plan on calling monday. Yes the intake is the AIS severe duty filter kit. Know any thing about them?
Thanks for the replies fellas! Looks like I'll be getting one soon. No the gauges don't void the warrenty as long as they cant prove that they screwed some thing up.
