What kind of mileage did you used to get? Could it be related to winter grade fuel?

Check to make sure you don't have any exhaust leaks before the turbo. Look for soot.

If the boost #s have not gone down, look at the ebpv system, tube and sensor.

Has fuel changed in the last few months? I thought ULSD is what I have been using all year? The change has been over the 1 1/2 months ...

it could just be a bad tank of fuel! I had a tank one time that got terrible mileage. Was worried and it went away the next tank. Just a thought.

some service stations including flying j have already begun changing over to ulsd and effective december 1 2010 all service stations well be required to carry ulsd fuel.its estamated that ther could be a 1% reduction in fuel economy!

ULSD is all I find around here in Indiana and has been sense the beging of the year even the place I use to get my biodiesel from started only carring ULSD. I use diesel kleen every time I fill up and have not seen any problems my other truck lost about 1mpg maybe 2 but that was about it. My new truck I will never really know sense thats all I can get now.

Roody - When I started using diesel kleen my mileage went down until I changed fuel filter a couple tanks later. Seems the diesel kleen broke some crap loose and was clogging the filter. Now I run it in every tankfull with no prob. Just a thought.

Thanks for the tip ... I added the diesel clean after the tank with 9mpg, since I am shutting it down for the winter ... I have some time to work on the truck, so I was wondering what to check ...
