A Yellow wire feeds the contacts of the fuel pump relay but I do not know of any Blue wire feeding any fuel pumps.
Yea i know. but there is a blue wire that goes to the relay to that has a fusible link on
it and then the wire turn red and go to a copper tab with a lot of i thnk it was 4 red wire's.
if i put power to the inertia switch under the steering column my pumps will come on. i have checked every possible wire that i can see and still no power when i just turn on the key. (help)
Had what sounds like the same problem with a bronco, would run with a jumper wire in place of the pump relay (but pumped fuel the whole time the key was on) but wouldn't run with the relay in place.
Tracked it down and found it had only one wire to the relay that never had juice to it, read in the manual that wire came from the computer, put a different computer in and it cycled the pumps on and off as it should and ran right with the relay in place.
Not sure if thats your problem but it kinda sounds like it, I will say it is the first time I ever had to replace a computer in all my years running fords, (lots of years). Don't go spend top dollar on one until you know for sure.
When you turn the key to the "on" position without starting it that wire from the computer should be live for a few seconds and run the pumps. Find out if that blue wire does come from the computer on yours.
I traced it back from the relay to the computer to be sure it was in fact the same wire.
The manual I have states the colors in it's diagrams may not be representative of the actual wire colors used on the trucks, handy huh? lol
i still have no spark i have replaced the pick-up and module on the out side and ditributor cap and rotor. any idea's. coil is giving power to cap but nothing coming out.

This is a new problem or another symptom of/with the first, did you fix the fuel pump issue?
On my truck, power comes from the yellow wire into the relay, and then goes to the inertia and fuel pump switch via a brown wire.
Yes that is the way it is for the Fuel Pump Relay but I think he saying fuel pump relay and is looking at the EEC power relay next to it. The EEC power relay is feed with a yellow wire also and then has a Blue Fuse Link wire that is spliced to the Red wires that go every where.
i think i figure it out.if i put a jumper to the yellow and blue fuse link / red wire and a jumper from the yellow and brown wire i have spark and fuel pumps so i'm thinking that my inertia switch is bad. i keep working on it till i get it running. what do you guys think. fixed or not.

These relays are ahead of the inertia switch so if the pumps run when you jumper them then the inertia switch is OK.
The power relay should close when you turn on the key.
Make sure the small black wire with a green stripe has a good ground at the NEG post of the battery, this may be your problem.
