Computer builing question...

Picks on a processor..
E6600 2.4G 1066FSB
or
E6750 2.66G 1333FSB

Will be running a P35 chipset, motherboard will support either. Both have the larger L2 cache. List any technical reasons why a faster or slower FSB and/or processor speed is better.

Speed. Faster is usually better.

IMO, since you're going P35 you might want to look at the Q6600. It's not much more and it's a quad-core CPU. Even though there aren't many programs out there to take advantage of the four cores the performance is quite astonishing considering the price.

And it would most likely carry you farther in the future.
