Glad you got it running.... feels good A.......nothing like it.....
change the oil and filter after the first 30 minutes again in 500 and again in 3000. I like to cut open the filter after the brake in......look for metal......
I did'nt loose patience with ya , sorry if it came across that way? I figured that you were new to this by the post's so I was just trying to explane it the best I could, yea without that ground to the motor your starter was'nt grounded, the rubber mounts on the motor and trans isolate's it, you should have one that goes from the battery to the block and then from the block to the body somewhere's, I would'nt double them up in the battery terminal, thats just a place for corroshin (CAN'T SPELL?) I'm glad ya got it ! GOOD JOB!
Posted on that other forum, not being much help...
I checked the system for flow by pulling one of the cooler lines,
there is a good flow at the radiator...
Could this be a vacuum problem?
Gonna pull that pan if i have to, but i live in montreal and getting cold out there!!
Need alittle more info my freind? what are we talking about? your tranny? and I know what ya mean about the cold, I'm in upstate Ny, gittin cool here too, but its been a good one so far
Never mind I looked up what your talkin about, I see you have a 302 in a 79 bronco? if I'm correct did you do this swap? if so what did you do with your trans? did you do the case swap? I'm putting a 351w into a 78 bronk and just rebuilt my c-6 and swapped out-put shafts, if tranny work was done make sure that lever went into the valve body correctly, and make sure your shifter is hooked up correctly? let me know how I can help? Rick

What should i look for if i pull it?
you are all over the place with this c6 problem........and I think the guys over at the ford trany site are right on the money...do what they ask and go from there.
You had no flow and now you do from the cooler
sounds like you need more fluid......the trans holds like 12 qts.
also when you put the motor in did the bellhousing mate to the motor with no problem or did you have to pull them together with the bellhousing bolts?
stick to one post...like the one you already started........
