Hi there... sorry for the late reply! I lost the thread!
Happy Thanksgiving Everyone!
heres what I've done so far... I've rebuilt the carb and this time I replaced the accelerator pump diaphram... It runs ten times better than before. There still some bumps while it idles, but over all runs way better than it used to. I am thinking with a full tune up and replacing the vaccum lines aughta take care of the "bump". I've also filled the crack in the exhaust manifold with JB Weld until I can afford a new one, or a next new one. ;-)
To answer your question... I havennt looked for a tag on the engine but I can take a look... all that I have is that it is a 1979 300 Inline 6. The motor is in a Grumman-Olsen Step Van... was a bread truck.
If I find a tag I'll let you know... thanks for your efforts!

I presumed it was an F-series.
FTE has a E-series/van forum.
as you will see on this page..there are 14 diagrams for 79 300.
