Arrow Chapter Leader Elections

Well, since I am the interim chapter leader, I am calling for an election for the chapter leader position. Here are my little rules since I couldn't find any elsewhere. I am open to suggestions to improve the process.

1. You have to be a member of our chapter
2. You can only nominate yourself. If you want to nominate someone else, please convince them to enter their name.
3. All nominations should be sent to me by Friday, November 9th. I will post all nominees names on November 10th.
4. We will hold the election through chapter member poll soon after. (Probably November 16th-19th.)

Please send your nominations to me via pm or email. I will contact you that I received your nomination.

Thanks,
Karl

Karl, you might consider adding a rule that you have to be a member for your vote to count.

Also, I think you ought to be able to nominate someone.

Let me be the first to nominate you!

Clint, Great suggestions and amendment
You have to be a chapter member to vote
You can nominate someone else. If they don't want to run, they can bow out at any time.

Thanks for the nomination.

I dunno...all Karl has done is stop by, eat food and leave.

Is that what we're asking from a Chapter Leader?

I implore you folks, think hard about this, heck...he even had to rebuild his engine twice...

I mean c'mon, do we really want this guy leading us to the 'land?

Okay, I'm in...I'll 4th, 5th or 6th the dang nomination

Now wait just a gosh darn minute. Karl did a fine job pressure washing the front axle of Thumperoo and absorbing all the muck, didn't he? I should know. I was standing around watching. Dan didn't have any shovel handles around that I could lean on, but I was there.

Dang...I forgot about that pic...gonna have to dig it up...for some reason I think he was spraying up in the air, while the axle was sitting on the ground...whatever...but I do know that whatever the heck he was doing, wasn't working out like it should have.

Easy enough to fix - whoever is voted chapter leader has to buy the beer!

I also re-nominate Karl; but as for him buying beer, I don't think Karl could afford
my beer bill.

Go Karl.

Note: giving apples to Karl (teacher's pet thing) should be replaced with items Karl can use on his truck.

Karl, this also makes you designated driver. (jk)

Well, nobody else was nominated so I guess that makes me the only nominee. So, being the power-hungry truck owner I am, I announce I am the elected chapter leader. Thanks to all who nominated me.

As for some of the comments above:
Note: giving apples to Karl (teacher's pet thing) should be replaced with items Karl can use on his truck.
Sounds good to me... PM me for the parts I need.

Easy enough to fix - whoever is voted chapter leader has to buy the beer!
I will buy the first round. I am glad I have big truck to haul all that beer. I guess that makes me the designated driver too... the true cost of being the chapter leader.

On a more serious, but fun note... what is the state of Thumper? I want us to come up with a plan with goals and semi-settled dates. This poor truck deserves our attention and we need to get it finished. I am going to start a new thread for this.

Thanks again everyone, I am all ears to new ideas for continuing our group's success.

Karl
