A find in sad shape

I found this while surfing around on ebay, wish I lived close or I'd try to at least salvage it for parts. The tree growing up though the bed about made me cry. Check out the link below

Now thats what you call a project. Would be really cool to mill the wood from the same tree and use it to line the bed.

I don't qualify for the Truck, says right there in big letters

"Need a Trailer and a WENCH" to haul it away.

I just fired my Wench last Monday, or should that be last Wench.

I saw it yesterday and tried to find something on it worth the the $175 in gas and the 15+ hours of drive time to justify going to get it. I didn't see a whole lot that was left of it.

This is the kind of truck you see out in a field somewhere and when you stop to ask if it's for sale the owner either says, "I going to restore it some day" or he what's $1000 for it because "them are gettin' hard to find now a days."

If it were closer, like 100 miles away, I would have to go and get it.

They also left out needing a chainsaw...

There looks to be a few usable parts still, the bedsides don't look too bad.. just a bit too far for me to go and get

yeah, I know, its more than I started with.. theres a pic of mine the day I brought it home below (and the pic of how it looks as of now in my signature). I'd have loved to start with a truck as complete as that one is, then again, I might not have made an extended cab.

The two front fenders alone would be worth the trip.
