1980, 300 runs rough when cold
My 1980 ford is hard to start when cold. Once it is finally going it idles very eraticaly. Once it is warmded up it is OK. About two weeks ago I found the automatic choke sitting on the intake manifold. I put it back on and adjusted it to 1 rich like it says to do. It was running rough before this happened. There doesn't seem to be vaccum leaks. What could be my problem????

Gee that sounds familiar. My 80 F150 with a 300 did the same thing. Turned out to be the EGR valve leaking (a vacuum leak). Also have heard stories of the disc in them getting burned from exaust and causing havoc. May have been just me, but thought I'd mention it.
