Looks like I,m gona have to spend some cash ,a couple of weeks ago I had asked some of you guys how hard of a job it was to change the O rings under the turbo, well today was the day. I had asked my friend who works at FORD ,and works on all the diesels there,to help he said sure and asked if I was sure it was the O rings,he had a look and said it was leaking from the ped itself he said it is a sealed unit and worth some bucks. So guess I will have to spend some money .Does anyone know if a guy could buy an aftermarket one at a decent price and where? thanks
After you hack the EBPV barrel off and clean it all up. You can also get a pedestal off of a 7.3 E-series van, it dosn't come with an EBPV. Infact I believe thats what the EBPV-less pedestal from ford is for is the 7.3 van. I believe Tim had his welded, I know that Rubberduck had his hole welded up as well as 1997F-350. All ways work, no matter what. Unless the guy you hird to heliarch the pedestial up is high off his **** when he welds up the oil passage, lol
