The aftermarket doesn't make replacement flareside bumpers but they are completely different. I have one in the shed because I replaced mine with a rollpan.
Let me be more specific. Not aftermarket manufacturers but used bumpers in general. I watched craigslist and ebay almost every day for FORD BUMPERS and I've never seen a "flareside bumper", stock nor aftermarket type. Not saying you're wrong, I'm sure you know better than I do.
While were on the topic of the difference in styleside and flareside, whats a "dentside"? Somebody told me they had a dentside truck the other day, and I had no idea what they were talking about... Any ideas?
You will need filler neck?necks , easy to get for reg bed . There was a post about a guy needing neck for style not to far back was diff than reg bed. Good luck on swap .
I don't like em myself. Now the old style Box with fenders I like . You can make a whole one you self if needed.
First off....read my name..therefore...you are nuts for wanting to convert these trucks look great lifted and with some gnarly tires on em...second yes, the bumpers are narrower...third Kellar where are you at and how bad does the bumper look that you have...or got any pics of the rollpan? And does it happen to be on the 94...Flaresides are a breed...you can't explain how they got that way but they just are...and they are alot lighter.....(it's easy to speed) ha ha ha....I need a new bumper for mine mine's dented and it's driving me nuts...bad enough my buddy took off the mark 3 fender packages so now...(sniffles tragically) it's just a flareside...and not a Flareside.......oh yea...the tailights are the same...on the 90's models anyways.....Good Luck.....
JR- oh yea...that was personal opinion on my behalf.....
I second Flareside-thunder. ARE YOU NUTSSS!?!?! The flare sides are very rare and getting even harder to find... just my opinion but still... there beautiful trucks when kept up nice such as thunders or mine.
That's the first time I've seen yours nextras...right now mine's in pieces in the driveway...I got a busted bolt in both sets of my heads that i can't get out (E7TE and GT40) so it's drivin me up the wall...nice truck though.....
That'd be great....I'd like to see what it looks like on one of these trucks.......thanks Kellar....see, I told Skandocious Canadians weren't ALL bad!ha ha ha ...

Ahhh, still never had a Canadian do nothin for me!
After I redid my 84 stepside I rembember seeing a guy who had a stepside of the same year with this bumper that was pretty nice, I asked where he got it and he quietly told me a Nissan truck that had the same bed rail widths as the F-150 that I had. He said it was not hard to bolt on and the outer width was just right. I just built my own out of 1 1/2 pipe.
