it has that too!
sure you want to sell this.?
this sounds like some of the vehicles i have held onto for years and at some point they do not go down in value anymore.
this is truly a rare puller.

I really think there is more on this truck then we realized. I requested the build sheet and it has all sorts of crazy things that I think are just for pulling?? Camper package...handling package...and some others. I wish we knew when was a good time to sell it to make sure it's true value is recognized...however we are selling this for my father and we don't have anything to tow anyhow.

If you think any of these features are real extra let me know.
Thanks,
Cheryl

Those are pretty standard features for such a heavy truck. It is hard to find a truck new on the lot that DOESN'T have either the camper package, snow plow prep, or extra payload capacity. All they are are is an extra spring and a stearing damper (or related hardware). The plow prep has a little bit of extra wiring. The only real question is WHERE that equipment is installed (front, back, etc). In reality the packages only cost a few hundred extra dollars, and it makes little sense to purchase a vehicle without them!

o.O Please warn me when you pass through my state Kermy, I don't want to be anywhere NEAR you pulling that kind of load! Those trucks are absolutely unsafe to be towing that much live weight. I do that (with TWO horses, not four) with my 2002 and while its safe, anything extra would not be.

We had someone on ebay (from QC, Canada) message us about towing a '50 feet 18,000 pounds GVWR Kaufman trailer for 3 cars which can reach close to max with 3 SUV's loaded on'.... That seems like a lot to me... What do you guys think??

I am shopping for a older truck to pull a horse trailer. I would buy that today if you weren't so far away! I live in NC and don't have a way to get to PA to pick it up. Very nice truck...hope I can eventually find a truck I can afford around here that has what I need!

That is a very good point John. And if you're looking for an older truck, I can't imagine that there are many that were built this tough, but than used so lightly. The previous owner was an engineer on an oil rigger. He took great care of the truck but only used it recreationally. He had cancer for years... So I'm sure he may have planned to get more use out of it. I'd love to see someone really enjoy it and have it be one of those trucks that has like 600,000 miles on it or something.
If anyone does decide they want to fly in just let us know and I'm sure we can help coordinate things to make it accomodating for you.
