Hello guys. I have a 1996 f250 diesel. I have a headlight lens which has seen better days. It is yellow and useless. I was going to replace it but cant figure out how to remove the darn thing. It has 2 screws on top which I removed easy enough but it is somehow still attached somewhere lower. I cant really see any access, Where and what is still holding this dude in. thanks Guys maxx
There are two 11mm nuts on back side of the core support in front of the battery that need to come out. There is a good intercooler install write up that has good pics of the places you need but I can't seem to find it.
The nuts are actually thru holes in the very outside of the back of the core support. they are at the same level as the corner light. and one to the insde of the main turn signal light and the other is near the smaller corner turn light.
I tried to go out and take pics but jsut realized there is no memory card in the camera and I have no way to transfer with out it. If you can't figure it out by this afternoon let me know and I can take those pics again.
Thanks for the quick reply. Do you get access from under the truck somehow? sorry about the ignorance just not real familiar with that assemby. Thanks again
Forgive my ignorance but do you gain access from climbing under the front of the truck and getting these bolts on the backside somehow. Just not familiar with this assembly. thanks again for your help. maxx
