I replaced both batteries last week, now starter will not turn motor
I removed the starter yesterday and had it tested, it failed
Auto parts stores are averaging $169.00 ,$180.00 for the core
1.Do I buy re-manufactured ?
2.Do I buy re-built ?
3. Are do I just have a shop re-build mine? I"m worried this could get costly
All have warranties, and either way I still would have to pull it back
out if a problem arises.

I have always had good luck with Napa's premium line of starter/altertators. Also many guys I have heard say they really like the upgraded starter from DB electric (something like that anyway) on ebay. Reman and rebuilt are usually the same thing no days. If you have a local starter shop that your trust they can do it as well.
