does anyone use one of these or know anything about the "actual" benefits of the cfm intake.
i am pondering about getting one for my '07, but there is not much out there about these. also it seems like the '07's stock intake is a little more like the aftermarkets than the '06 and back, is this true?

No different than the other "power elbow" on the market. The 05-07 trucks use the same intake elbow from the factory and see very little benefit from this modification as the factory flows well for stock or lightly modded 6.0. Some of the 03-04 owners report a gain do to the removal of the egr intake air valve assembly, however some 03-04 owners have reported problems by removing the egr intake air valve assembly.
just installed it about 2 weeks ago, main reason for buying it was the tapped port and getting rid of the egr valve. I haven't really seen any boost in performance, maybe in the off idle throttle response but thats about it. some have reported problems with not building the usual boost numbers they were geting beforehand but they have the 03-04's. the only prob ive seen is that on cold morns, only 40's or 50's so far, the throttle is really touchy between 1500-2000rpms. other than that i like, easy install and it seems pretty sturdy plus the port makes installing a boost gauge really easy.
