Cfm largemouth intake kit

just installed my cfm largemouth intake kit and it is awesome. shaved like two seconds off my 1/4 mile time. well not really but it looks cool and sounds a little deeper. doesnt seem to add much power or lower egts but the water meth will take care of that. took about two hours.

2 hours to do what? Putting an intake on can be done in 15 mins lol.. It's 4 bolts and a clamp (Grin)

I saw it and found it to be a joke.. The accufab is just as good..

The CFM "kit" includes and different cold side IC pipe as well as the elbow. For $400+ I'd hope to see some double digit gains but it sounds like it all fluff right now.

I hope you start seeing better results as you drive the truck.

Ah hell.. For $400 bucks?! Should just saved and got the Technicooler.. That's the only way your going ot see a gain.. That larger CFM isn't going to help.. I know what they are doing, they want to use the Water Hose principal.. Forgot the smart term for it but you know, squeeze the end of a hose and water gushed faster LMAO

Hell I dunno.. Just another piece that looks pretty but doesnt do anything..

I'm sure there is something to gain with the kit, it's just the cost isn't going to add up to much in the dollar-to-HP ratio.

well the main reason i bought it was because i dont have to drill and tap the intake for my water meth which will be here tomorrow. i wasn't really expecting a huge gain but it does look good on paper compared to other replacement intakes. and it took a while to wrestle with the stock air filter which has to be removed to install the pipe. had to use a blow dryer to get the stock plastic pipe off because its a little cold here. and who knows i may have gained 10hp but its tough to tell when you already have 400 of them.
