how are these motors i know they are basically the same as a 300 but longer stroke smaller pistons. but do they have the same bulletproofness to them? what parts are interchangable? everything?>
do they fair well for a daily driver? looking at picking up a 72 f100 with im guessing a 3 speed floor conversion. the guy wasnt around to ask and he is off/closed today, but for $600 i cant pass the truck up it is in really good shape
Yes, a 240 is a destroked 300. Just as tough. Maybe tougher, even, since the rod angles are better and there's less stress on the crankshaft. Lower output, though.
