Hi folks,
Is it worth installing a windage tray in an F4TE block which I probably will never run over 5000 rpm? I have read a couple times that they're a very good way to reduce parasitic drag, but I assume that's in high rpm applications.
If it is a useful addition, which one would you recommend?
I only use them in anything I'm spinning over 6000.....might be a good idea in a truck....keep the oil off the crank while your wheeling....I got one for a 351W front sump, I have the pan and all. it's the one in my 351Clevor build link in my sig....make me an offer.
really it's not much of an advantage in your situation as you state it, I would save the money and invest it in Balancing instead (assuming you weren't going to do that anyway)
