How big a job is it to change king pins on my 83 F250 2WD??? Can I do it my self?
It's a fairly big job, especially if you are not familiar with frontend work. If you get the brass bushings, they have to be pressed out and then back in, and then reamed with a special reamer. This is all work a machine shop will have to do. I have heard about plastic bushings, though, that you could do yourself, check to see if they make them for your truck.
On a side note though, the "search" feature on this site has a lot to be desired........

Getting the old pins and bushings out can be really difficult. Once out, the rest is usually not too hard. You will have to get a reamer of the correct size though. A copy of the Ford factory shop manual is recommended!
