New/ Continued Electrical issues

It all started in my previous thread HERE where I replaced the positive battery cables. This lead to a truck that would turn over well but not fire. Checked all of the fuses, fusible links nothing wrong there, So tonight I replaced the starter relay, and starter solenoid and it got worse not better. not the both solenoids click but but nothing turns over.

Is my starter gone? Could it be something that I did or just coincidence.

-James

Edited to fix link

why did you replace the starter solonoid? i am getting confused now, if it doesnt do anything now then you have a problem with your most recent install. retrace your steps

I think you might have cracked the solenoid behind the lug.

hey gunniuea pig! more info on your cure!

didnt you say the truck would start then die after the first round of replacements?
you need to get a voltmeter on the starter to see if power is getting to it. if so whack it with a hammer to "jump start" it then you can get back to why its a crank no start

Ok, I guess more detail was necessary. After the truck got new battery cables it was cranking over strongly but not firing. After checking everthing that was suggested in my other thread I found nothing wrong. So I thought maybe I had damaged the starter relay on the firewall by over tightening it or something so I replaced it. (with 303k on the clock I didn't feel to bad about replacing it). After doing this the truck no longer cranked over and the starter solenoid stopped clicking. So I replaced that with what seemed to be a new(still in the plastic) one that was in a box of parts that came with the truck. The solenoid now clicks when you try to start the truck but the starter makes no attempt at turning over.

So that is where I am at now, continually making things worse it seems.

Any Ideas on where to go from here

Tried the whack-a-starter method with no luck. Which old part are you suggesting that I put back
