new stuff, finally

During my 9 month absence I finally managed to finish the house addition and then had a chance to actually work on my truck, my gallery has pictures of my new scratch-built dash cluster. It took a whole day to do it, I hope the pics are as entertaining as the build was

Tim,

Once again you have outdone yourself! I like the symmetry of it, it sure looks good with the humpless dash

simply amazing

It looks Awesome Tim. I'm glad your making progress on the truck because the Western Nationals will be here before you know it. Myself and a lot of others I'm sure are looking forward to seeing you and your truck there.

Nice job Tim. I like the black face gauge your using. I really like the way you fabricated the column drop, that's really different and kinda flows with the dash. I know you mentioned the hump changed when you did the chop on the top. If I recall, you fabricated yours after the Foose truck? I don't recall, but did they keep the hump on the dash? I know they used the stock instrumentation, but upgraded the gauges with new mechanisms. I can't wait to see the finished product. It'll be nice! Sure wish I could do metal fabrication like you. Nice work.

It is looking great Tim. Hope to meet up with you for a few minutes at the Goodguys Scottsdale show. I need some pointers on that "Foose" chop.

Tim,

Looking good! Looking forward to seeing it finished someday.

Will the dash be painted or skinned with "leather"?

Interesting steering wheel. I've never seen one with the engraved design on it. Where'd that come from?

Later,
