that's kinda what I figured, you cannot fool a newer vehicles PCM w/out an issue. So basically someone has installed a resistor inline to the ICM to fool the pcm and increas ICP pressure right?? Sure bump it up to 70% @ idle and see how it bucks and smokes!!! I have seen this one some intercooled 7.3l's and leave a constant ICP code, great when you actually have a driveability concern and you never know it because your mil is already illuminated!!!
7.3's and 6.0's are totally different animals electronically. I think I might know where you're getting this mod from and it DOESN"T work on this motor. I bet ya a cold brew it lights your CEL or gives you a code. Good luck.
18vtx00, you've been slow? Isn't that a good thing from the 6L's standpoint? I do acknowledge that it is a bad thing from your standpoint. I just took my truck in and the tech was so slow that he basically offered to do anything that I needed under warranty.....now I'm getting ARP studs!
