I saw and ad on FTE a little while back for a website that has a kit where you can convert your stock injectors into split-shot intjectors urself. I know a guy who can do this for me and he owes me a favor so does anyone know which website I saw? Thanks

What year is your truck?
I am of the opinion that split shot injectors are not as good as singles.
You'll get better mileage, and no injector cackle, HPOP doesn't have to work as hard, etc. A lot of things are better about running single shots.
So I am wondering why you would want to convert to splits.

I have a 2003 7.3 and im not sure if im goin to run split shot injectors or not, but after wat you say single shot injectors sound like what ill be getting.
A 2003 already has splits from the factory and the PCM is programmed to run with them.
If you want to convert to singles, then you have to get a chip programmed to run the singles.
Not a big deal, but I wanted to let you know that is a necessary part of the conversion.
If I ever need injectors again, that's what I would be doing.
I'm thinking that I'll do the DIY injectors, *IF* I can get single-shots that won't need more mods. I can get my DP reburned if necessary to match these, but do I have to go to a 180cc kit to get the singles? I'm happy with the power & performance of my truck - better mileage with a little boost in power would be nice though. I'm not racing or pulling sleds, so big power is not my goal. I drive 40,000miles each year so better mileage is what I'm after primarily. Thanks all!
