Broken Exhaust Stud Removal
MY '97 F150 4X4 5.4L has developed an exhaust leak at the right side exhaust manifold. I noticed one of the two studs is broken at the rear exhaust port. I believe a piece of the stud extends past the head, but it is broken flush with the manifold boss.
How do I go about removing the broken stud? Also, I appreciate any tips on preventing me from breaking the other (7) when I go to replace the manifold gasket.
