2-barrel intake
There was supposedly a 300 that came stock with a 2bbl, but I know of noone that has had one or seen one. So other than that you snag a 4bbl intake (whether an Offy or Cliffy) and put a 2bbl adapter on there. You can get the offy from PAW (www.pawengineparts.com) or get the cliffy from Cliffords (www.cliffordperformance.com). I would personally go with the Offy (C-series, not the DP. The DP does no good with a 2bbl).

2-barrel intake
Some of the old Ford Victorias that were used as cop cars got the 2BBL on a 240. Also, I believe it was an option on the COE trucks, like the 600's. I have a 350cfm 2BBL Holley on the Offey C-series, on a 300-6, and love it. This same setup would be great on a 240.
