Does this sound like the CPS?
My 2001 PSD is shutting down as I drive down the road. Driving along normally and the engine just shuts down - does not sputter or otherwise make a sound before hand.
After I come to a stop, it starts right up again. This happened 3 times in about 12 miles yesterday on the way home from work.
Does this sound like it may be the cam posistion sensor?
When this truck was new it had to have the CPS replaced, but the symptoms were different then; it would sputter and loose power before the engine shut down. This time, the engine shuts down just a smooth as if I turned it off with the key, and starts just as smoothly.
