I am having a weird problem with my heater in my 96 f-150 I-6 and its startin to get cold so I would love to fix it. I did a radiator flush and like u r supposed to I ran the heater with the flush in the system. Now my truck cools great no overheatin but my heater doesn't get hot. If I switch to vent it gets warm but not hot. Defrost, mix, and floor spit out cold air. Both lines goin into and comin out of the heater core are hot as hell. The heater worked perfectly before I did the flush any help will be greatly appreciated. Thanx in advance
Could be the cable conection on the back of the temp switch. Mine slips out sometimes and I have to pull it apart and put it back in otherwise it gets stuck on the last setting I left it on.
If it is air in the system how do I get it out? I'm guessin that I have to take the dash off to replace the core? And I will check on the switch too hopefully I won't break anything
