mass air conversion???

im looking to upgrade to mass air and a 302 throttle body who has done this and what is the best way to go about doing it???

I'd get a '96 4.9L and swap it in.

i dont want to swap motors i just want to make mine mass air do they sell a conversion kit like the V8's????

mass air conversion???

Noone makes a conversion kit to a Mass Air system. If you were to snag a MA system off a '96, you'd end up with OBDII which is a tough nut to crack.

[updated:LAST EDITED ON 23-Dec-02 AT 10:22 AM (EST)]Actualy Ford Motorcraft makes a conversion kit. and you WON'T need to switch to OBD-II. I beleive the kit is universal for the 300,302,351. But from everyone I know who has done a speed density-mass air conversion, they were never able to get it fully correct.

mass air conversion???

Motorcraft or Motorsport? The only one I've seen is for the 302 made by Ford Motorsports, but it can be modified to work with the 351 (I think it's just a switch in the order the injectors are hooked up). I don't think they would work with the straight six though. Unless you are referring to a different kit.
