Factory stereo question

Hello all. I have a 2007 F150 XLT Extended cab (not the super duper cab). CD/MP3 and factory Sirius. I'm not into real booming bass like I was as a teenager. I also like the clean look of having a factory stereo in my truck and don't want to switch head units. So my question is, does the factory stereo have pre-amps? I'd like to replace my factory speakers and add an amp and a sub under the rear seat. Has anyone done an install like this?

Thank you! Somehow I missed that thread when I was searching. Searching is a funny thing. Sometimes changing the wording just a bit will give totally different results. Again, thanks.
