Hello Out There, HELP!
New to the group and hoping to find suggestions or answers to a problem I have experienced. Two times now when towing a 4-wheeler trailer and with less than 1/4 of a tank of gas in the truck, my vehicle (2004 5.4l) has loss of power and slows to a crawl, a jerky crawl. If I can limp to a gas station and fill-up the tank the truck will continue on as if nothing has happened. No codes and does not do this unless I am towing, without the trailer I can run to empty and it will not show the same symptoms.

Posting that in the modular engine forum was the way to go.
Some of the other boards may be able to help (The 2004-2008 is one and the Towing board is another). Use the resources of the site and I'm sure somebody has encountered a similar problem. For local information and support stop by your state chapter: https://www.ford-trucks.com/forums/forum175/
