remote starter
Looking for a remote starter, I want a fairly descent remote start for an 03 f350, it is a diesel so it needs the delay in the start to warm the glow plugs...i want it to start (turn off if possible) lock and unlock, and i seen a few with a alarm on them, theres a screen on the keyring thingy,,,which one do yall reccomend? THANKS TO ALL

I have the AutoPage RS1000. There are a couple things about it that are screwy right now, but I think I just need to update some settings and I haven't gotten around to messing with it yet. The screen, and range are great though.

I have been installing these things for about 5 years now. Any thing made by DEI (viper, python, clifford, avital, Directed, and a few others) is going to be the best on the market. I have a DEI in mine, but I got it at cost. If I had to buy one and I was paying normal price I would get an Audiovox. In my opinion they are about 99% as good as anything DEI makes, but cost close to half as much.

I have a Python and it will do everything described in your first post. It can even roll down the windows if you add a part to it, plus every option you said. No complaints here! It was about $400 installed if I remember correct?

When it can be used on a diesel,it will say diesel compatable.
And its not done with a relay,most will use a timed start delay.Most will wait 10,20,30 secs before starting,when set up that way.
