Boost gauge ???'s
Just put gauges on it this weekend, boost gauge needle bounce erratically once it goes past 5psi. Would this be a gauge problem or is something else going on here. I had put one on the superduty I had and didn't have any problems with it. So I don't think the install is the issue.

mine does that too. mine is t'd into the map line. it got better when I put an actual compression fitting at the t. the little rubber boot that auto meter supplied with the gauge kept blowing out. the bouncing that my gauge does also goes away when it gets above about 12-13 psi.

oh by the way I have managed to get up to 18 lbs boost with my truck. the truck is completely stock except for 6637 filter and 3 to 4 in. exhaust. and that amount of boost came in second gear while pulling 15,000 lbs.
