I flipped back and forth between the race and the Bears/Eagles game. It was nice to see Kenseth finish well (I think he got 5th) but once again, it was a Chevy show.
You can expect a lot of cautions during the chase and because everyone is fighting for every last position because they want to stay in the top 35.
Id like to see them do something about that splitter. Its too easy for someone to get a cut tire and I could easily see someont try to use that splitter as a weapon.
The last five weeks have been like that. When it gets in the final laps it yellow after yellow.
The COT has ruined racing. Maybe it will get better but it is not as good as the old car. Take Bristol and Talladega for example. Not even close to the excitement of the old car.
I watched the last 30 minutes or so, seems typical of a small track, though. I start tuning out NASCAR in late July early August...it seems that their season never ends.
I haven't much of the racing latey, I'm pretty much done with the sport because it's not a real sport anymore. But I turned on the last bit today to see the last laps and what do I see??? The green-white-checkers with the 6 car in the middle of the track and everybody going full speed towards it!
