This afternoon I took Joey's old truck from the driveway to the garden. Progress is slow but with some patience I got it going and made my way slowly there. The neighbors probably thought I was nuts with all the noise but it moved on its own and that is a good thing. I have most of the parts amassed and I have to either get to work on it myself or find a young man at the local votech that is looking for experience while in school. That is how the wife's Fiat got done and it looks really nice. I lucked out there in that the young man that worked on it took first place in the state competition. I hope to have Joey's truck up and running on the road by next summer. Mama thinks there are too many vehicles around here but then three of them are her's. I will have two and some might ask what's wrong with this picture. I have a boat that I rebuilt so it evens out. The 50 panel is on hold until the pick-up is complete; it will be my daily driver. You all have a great day.
The only good thing about winter coming is that I will actually get some time to work on my truck.
Saturday here was amazing, beuatiful fall day with temps up into the 80's. I took my truck out to the last cruise night of the summer and it was great. It was a nice warm evening and a great turn out of cars and trucks.
Today...ugh, its about 30 degrees colder than yesterday and the wind has been blowing like a banshee since dawn...yuck
Don't worry abut the neighbors, if they think you're nuts then they tend to leave you alone....lol
