Attachments?

I suppose this is the wrong place to post, but why can't I add attachments to my posts. I see other people can, some with a smaller post count, so that can't be it. What's the secret, just wondering.

look to see if the blue Supporter box is next to their names, that'd probably be why.

Best I understand it, you can not post pics that are linked to your personal computer. The pics have to be hosted on a server somewhere. There are several free hosting sites (photobucket is one). I have my website hosted thru FTE so I just upload the pics to my space (not myspace but my space) there and then link to that directory.

If you click on the attachment button above the text box where you type your message (the globe with the chain at the bottom) it gives you a box to text in a name for the attachment then the next box is where you put the link. If it's an active link it should show up in your post.

But it could be like my wife says to me (what the h**l do you know ???)

The attachment is a photo from my gallery.

Go to your user CP and then click edit gallery on the left side. Navigate to the gallery to which you uploaded the photos you wish to post. Below the photos in your gallery select forum codes for displaying in forums, from pop up window copy code for full size image and paste in body of text. I'm sure that there is an easier way but this works for me.....i have no clue how the whole URL image thing works.

These photos are uploaded to the FTE site not the same as attachments (huge pics) that the supporters can place in their posts.

That said, I will be a supporter very shortly.

The website seems to be having troubles the last few days (due to switchover?), I haven't been able to post any pics.
