Anyone run these without interference of headers on a 5.0? I ordered up some regular msd 8.5 super conductors with the straight on plug wire attachments.. as in.. no 90 degree bend here. I hope I didn't screw up. Lol.
Are they supposed to have a full 90 degree bend? I just did Ford Racing 9mm wires on my 351W and they had 45 degree angles on them. Is this different than a 302?
My Ford Racing were 45 degree too. It's a matter of personal choice I think.......seemed to me that straight would have been better on a few plugs but after I routed the correctly....everything is aok. I have stock manifolds.
It might be easier for you to run them around headers with the straights. The key is the routing at the distributor. Make sure you have them right or you get crossfire.
Thanks. I was just asking because the ones that are there now with the headers are of the bend type (45/90 degree or whatever). I just noticed when I went back to compare prices online that they aren't the same style. I just hope the headers don't interfere with them but I think they should be alright. Thanks guys.
