Looks like the seller replaced the ratty outside mirrors that were shown in the first two pics. They are factory also, but the arm, at least on the right side was bent.

So, what would you pay for the truck, if you were to buy it?

My rule of thumb is that ANY running driving 4X4 is worth at least $1000, unless the body is completly hammered, and barely runs. Where I live, I would give about $1500 tops for that truck minus the body rot. I would pass it up and find something that needs nothing. However, where I used to live, I would pay the $1500 for it because I would know I'd have to pay more money for a truck that did not have rot, because those are impossible to find. Also, having rot was a normal thing. Look in your local papers, and see what trucks of this vintage sell for, and make the offer (or set the price) accordingly.

Are you the seller, or thinking about buying it?

[edit] I just looked at your gallery, this is your truck before you took it apart. I don't get what you are trying to figure out, how much it was worth before you took it apart?

I wouldn't buy this or any regular cab. Not because I don't like the cabs, but at 6-5, 335 lbs. There's NO way I can fit in one.

I wouldn't even guess what it's worth without a thorough inspection. Trucks like this WITHOUT rust are a dime a dozen here in SoCal, and can be bought for less than 2 grand.

My neighbors gardener just bought a 1976 F100 Styleside (360/C6) with original red/white paint for $800.00 from an ad he saw in the Penny Saver. It's not perfect, but the body is straight and the interior is decent.

$500 tops. But thats just me. If theres a bunch of money put into it and there are receipts to back it up maybe more. Overall theres not much of value to me. Its an early 77 at best, non-a/c cab, has rust (check the cab mounts), aside from the XLT stuff there isnt much of real value.

Just based on the pictures, if it's worth anything, it's worth $1500. That's just the way it is for these trucks. If the frame is not ate up with rust - look for big flakes, check the crossmembers under the bed, the rear shock mounts - also if all of the lights in and out work (you can over look a shot bulb outside or in the instrument panel, as long as nothing funny happens when you press the brake pedal or turn the blinkers on) and it runs, shifts, and drives good, it will be worth $2000-2500 to someone, and that's not bad. I'd go $2000.
