Hey guys, I was wondering if the front end parts from an '87 F250 4x4 would bolt up to a '96 F250 4x4??? They're bot h TTB, so i was thinking so, but just checking.
Thanks
I would worry about the bushings and bearings being worn out in that old axle. Post on here in the wanted ad for a newer TTB someone who is doing a SAS swap will probably give you one if you come and take it off their hands. Getting one with lower miles is the only way I would even bother swapping it out, Who knows what gremlins lurk in the bearings and the suspension bushings or if it is even straight. If you get one that someone ran too big of tires on and there are stress cracks from it you won't know until it is too late!! http://broncograveyard.com/bronco/c-159
Just about everyting you need there for the TTB front end. I know alot of people don't like the TTB and will probably say swap it out but if you go to a desert race all
the fords are running TTB's and these guys are doing 100+mph and catching air, I am
pretty sure it is a good design if they can handle that. Some will say you lose traction
in off camber situations but it is'nt like it has 6 inches of travel difference left to right.
