nv4500 conversion

nv4500 conversion
ok i am new to the ford world. but i am looking at a 86 f250 diesel. not sure if it has a 7.3 or 6.9 and i wanna know if theres a conversion kit to put a nv 4500 on either of those engines

An 86 F-250 will have a 6.9 and a T-19 4 speed. I'm not sure about a conversion kit for an NV4500, but if you were to find a ZF 5 speed from an 87-91 model truck you should be able to bolt it in. A ZF is a pretty good tranny and you still get overdrive.
