10k mod

I know I'm on a different page but, do any of you think trying the 10k or 20k mod to a 2002 psd that is bone stock could be done? And do you think it would help? Would the wire color be different that I would cut to install the 10k mod as my 95 psd?

I don't see how it could hurt, the injection system is the same. Many are now using 14.6k with noticable increases.

thanks fuelman, I haven't done the 10k mod to my 95 yet still wondering if it is stock. Thought i would try on my 2002 first I have 51,000 miles on the odometer. Hoping to pull the horse trailer easier. I will put gauges on before pulling with this mod.

Get gauges then do it. But gauges first! I think many without gauges will be surprised when they see how hot its getting!
