A coil pack may have gone bad.
If the check engine light blinks, it usually means do not drive the car!(or at least not far) I would get the code pulled at your local Autozone(they do it for free) and then report back. GL!

this is a simple repair that takes all of 15 min
that is a easy coil to replace and you might as well buy a new plug too
if i wasnt comfortable doing it myself i would just take it to your reg mechanic and see if he could do it for 25-30 bucks

just take your time and move the hoses away
it is the second one from the back on the drivers side
if i were you i would drive by a mech shop and just ask how much to replace the coil
i would also get a plug too
easy job esp for a mech who has done it before
BTW i just replaced my #7 the other day
before that it was #4(real real hard to get to)

If you do change plugs yourself, make sure the motor is completly cold. The threads of the plug holes are aluminum and it wouldn't take much to strip the threads. Also be careful not to overtorque the new plugs. Good luck-
