Flywheel casting #'s
hey guy's, got a question for you guru's
just removed the marine bell housing from my 351W, that I recently acquired and the casting # on it is C6ZE-6380-A I ran a yahoo search on it and it come up as a K code 289 part number, if so what's it doing on a 351W in a boat?

1965/72 Ford Car Parts Catalog ~ 260, 289 and 289 Special Engine Section 60.4; Page 11 sez:
C3AZ-6375-J .. Flywheel - 289 M/T (NOT 289 SPECIAL aka HIPO)
Marked: C6ZE-6380-A or C7ZE-6380-A on engine side. 157 tooth ring gear. 6 5/16" attaching holes on 11 3/8" bolt circle.
There are two 289 M/T Hipo flywheels listed: C3OZ-6375-E, 157 teeth and C5OZ-6375-B 164 teeth.
351W M/T flywheel is C6TZ-6375-C ~ 164 tooth ring gear. Bolt circle is 12 3/8"
Sorry, no marine applications...
